I have been informed that I should only disclose my thoughts about the UFO public hearings until after the month of August …I can neither confirm or deny that the above statement is true.
On July 26, 2023 I, like many of you, watched the more than 2 plus hours of hearing entitled “ Unidentified Anomalous Phenomena, Implications on National Security, Public Safety and Government Transparency”. (That is way too long for an acronym). Hosted in Washington by the House Subcommittee on National Security, the Border and Foreign Affairs.
As the hearing’s title suggests, talks were about; military and civilian safety, security concerns surrounding UFOs, Government Transparency which seemed to be cloaked under the umbrella of “a need to know bases” -kinda like some of the testimonial answers – Speaking of testimonial here are the names of the 3 witnesses who were under oath at this hearing.
Ryan Grush– Air Force veteran – former member of the National Geo spatial Intelligence Agency
Ryan Graves– former Navy pilot
David Fravor – former U.S. Navy commander.
So, why write about this event so late in the game? I knew that much would be written on the subject by those entrenched within the UFO community…what possible insights could I reveal that have not already been explored?
Well, this piece may not contain riveting information about the hearings, but it will contain a small fraction of important 2013 historical Hearing happenings along with a sprinkle of my views.
There has already been many a post-mortem performed by those entrenched within the UFO community however, this may be for the curious or those who were in denial or perhaps on the fence about some or all of the aspects of UFO’s and now feel the urge to jump over into the believers camp. A word of caution, watch what you step in.
Of course one way to explore the topic is to listen to what experiencers have to say or have had to say about their encounters with UFOs. In my lifetime that type of narrative was at first whispered, mumbled, shouted-out and then squashed. When persons that were perceived as credible began to chimed in, especially in an official capacity, then the tin foil hats began to wrinkle.
For those, like myself who already had their camper parked and unpacked (even before my sightings) you may have felt that this hearing did not have many unique revelations. Perhaps the BIG news is that it was nice to see some main stream news outlets covering the hearings in earnest, and hopefully, that may help move the needle forward towards a more mature narrative.
I realize that many were understandably giddy over these hearings, especially for those who have felt invested in the topic or for those who needed to feel vindicate, but for me…not so much. And here is why…
At the end of the day it involved and revolves around military, military is government & I can’t help but hear the words…shoot first, ask later.... The hearing was not entitled How we can make peaceful contact OR Brushing up on our Interstellar communication skills – OR- Whose airspace is it anyways?
Discussions in part, circled around military might of one kind or another, leaving a foot in the door in hopes, perhaps, of a piece of the monetary pie for programming of one type or another.
How many times during the hearing was the phrase or close to the phrase “immanent danger” stated? For the uninitiated out there, this type of speak my cause anxiety, anger and confusion. Could this have been their end game or games all along?
Do we really believe that…“Perhaps we need some outside, universal threat to make us recognize [a] common bond. I occasionally think how quickly our differences worldwide would vanish if we were facing an alien threat from outside this world.”

Let’s then all hold hands, look up to the skies with hate against an imagined unknown enemy, while feeling a united love for our own tribe. Sound familiar? Mind you, I kind of like the part about holding hands while gazing.
Perhaps one day the charge will be led by the public and not just for the public. Speaking of which, let’s head back to April, 2013 to the Citizen Hearings on UFO Disclosure. Where the motto was ‘If the Congress won’t do its’ job, the people will’. Remember that!!?
No? Well, it did seem to magically fly under the radar – like a UFO – for most of us.
That hearings took place in Washington D.C., and had to be held at the National Press Club back on April 29th 2013. It was a 5 day event!
Those 2013 hearing circled around E.T.’s presence & engagement with humanity. The reason for the Hearing was to obtain facts circling around extraterrestrial contact and to dissect a November 2011 statement that was issued by the White House citing “The U.S. government has no evidence that any life exists outside our planet, or that an extraterrestrial presence has contacted or engaged any member of the human race. In addition, there is no credible information to suggest that any evidence is being hidden from the public’s eye.”
Evidence was presented, under oath by all witnesses, a few of them are now known to be somewhat “heavy hitters” within the UFO community.

Richard Dolan: Researcher and Historian on the matter of UFO particular as they relate to USA NATIONAL SECURITY POLICY. His focus circled around proof as to why “stories” should be taken seriously. Some of his examples included: radar, violation of air space, air craft intersection, Military pilots eyewitness. He states that branches of the U.S. Government that are charged with maintaining National security such as the CIA, NSA, Military Intelligence take UFO reports seriously but publicly those departments state there is nothing to be concerned about.
Grant Cameron: Canadian Private Investigator researcher (ufologist) The UFO Website STATEMENT: Contrary to Obama’s Administration statement that there is no evidence or cover up of interaction with E.T., Cameron sites Truman and Brandon.
“Yes we discussed it at every conference that we had with the military. There were always things like that going on – flying saucers and other things” -President Harry S. Truman.
A 42 year veteran of the CIA, Chase Brandon remarked on July 2012 guest on Coast to Coast stated referencing material he witness at CIA headquarters that…
“ I absolutely know as I sit here talking to you that there was a craft beyond this world that crashed at Roseweld and that the military picked up the remains of not just a wreckage but of cadavers 100 % in my heart and soul Roswell happened. There was a craft and absolutely cadavers, I don’t know where the stuff is but I know that Roswell happened”.
Dr. Steven Greer: Yes that S. Greer– Retired E.R. physician who founded the Center for the Study of Extraterrestrial Intelligence (CSETI) and the Disclosure Project
Linda Moulton Howe, Investigative JournalMasters in Communication. Creator of a documentary called A Strange Harvest which circles around mammal mutilation depicting bloodless incisions believed to be done by E.T.s. What a power house she was!!
Stanton Friedman: Retired Canadian Nuclear Physicist. Since 1958 he has been studying the evidence about UFO.
Some of Friedman’s conclusions:
Evidence points to overwhelming conclusions that Earth is being visited by SOME Intelligence Controlled E.T. Space craft –Their is a cosmic water gate cover-up and this is the biggest story of the milennium.
My Impression:
This recent hearing felt a bit like a possible soft disclosure curtesy of perhaps the few that are really in charge. But soft disclosures are nothing new…think about the movies such as E.T., Close Encounters, Star Gate, Contact and the fairly light hearted – Jules (2023) starring Ben Kingsley – where they make reference to a type of planting and watering of the seeds of truth…perhaps that might be a topic of exploration for another time.

If you are interested in the topic then search for a podcast, there are hundreds of them available, or dive backwards for historical view points in print, try to be open minded, curious and then decide for yourself where you want to land – Nice thing about opinions is that they can always change. Remember, it is not the end of the world, at least not yet.
